Xandiar, I'm pretty much the opposite of you. Vampires never appealed to me, I never liked to whole drinking blood thing, but lycans, and werewolves in general are awesome. That whole turning into a wolf on the full moon facinates me. And I like wolves, I think that would be so awesome to turn into a wolf, an actual wolf. For a good werewolf movie I'd recomend the movie Wolf with Jack Nicholson and Michelle Pfeiffer, an excellent movie.

There is a huge change in appearence with Vampires (just not in underworld, really.)
Nails get longer, teeth grow, skin gets pailer, muscels buldge out and get 3 times stronger, face turns into bat like appearence and so on.
They made Underworld a bit to realistic. I would still choose Lycan

Yea, Heathen is totally correct, vampires do change. They just don't change in a way that is totally noticable. Most of the vampire changes are unnoticable. If you want to learn more about vampires, you should read Anne Rice books.

Yeah. There is a new movie out here called "Vampire Clan" and its about a group of teenage gothics (you bag out gothics, I will kill you) that think there vampires and think they are immortal. It looks pritty good. This, what I am about to write, is spam. But it is interesting spam, so read it
On Opera (my mum watches it) there was a segment I watched becuase it was about a ground of kids that thoguht they were vampires, but instead of drinking the blood, they injected it.They interviewed police, there parents, the groupe members, and the ring leader. After a LONG argument, the ring leader confessed to putting a tiny dose of heroin in the blood, so the groupe members got the illusion that they NEEDED the blood, but they only needed the heroin that it contained.
Vampires have a weakness, Lycans don't, really.

Actually you are wrong, yes vampires do have a weakness but so do lycans. Their weakness is the moon, I do know after a certain age they can control that, but so can vampires. They can learn to with hold the thirst and just use blood from blood banks only when they want. So really when it comes to the weakness, they both have them, and they both can control them.

Yeah, but a vampire can't learn to accept sunlight. It can't build up a tolerance for it.
But I agree. Both species have their faults; it's just a matter of favorites.

True, true. But another bad thing about Lycans is about the rage. Werewolves sometimes lose control of there bodies.

Thats not a bad thing when your fighting immortals if you lose control that means your capable of more than if you were in control.

Well, it also depends. Are we moving more into a subject of general werewolves, or are we still talking about lycans?
I'd think that lycans would remain in control, unless they wanted to just thrash about.

Get a Lycan angrey and they wont need a weapon. Spin around and around with your claws and you would cut the shit out of anyone close by. I don't like Vampires.

about vampire changes and such, you need to remember that there are few set rules on vampire physiology, in fact I can only think of two, they need blood to survive, and they're killed by sunlight, anything else depends on the particular story the vampires are in. Vampires are different in different movie universes, for example: in the movie Blade vampires are extremely allergic to silver, but in Underworld it doesn't affect them at all, in fact it's their favorite weapon. In some movies and books vampires can't stand garlic, in others it has no affect on them. The same goes for werewolves. It depends on the story they're in. What ever the author chooses to make fact for them in their story is fact. But in truth, real vampires, as in the original vampire myths, were nothing like they are today. If you want to know about that look up Slavic mythology, where vampires originated. My ancestors have quite an interesting, yet little known and under appreciated mythology

Yeah. What about the classic movie Interview With The Vampire? That is quite a beliveable/relyable source of information and an extreemly good movie. Vladyslav, tell us this mythology of your familys. It will be spam that no one will judge you for, so don't worry about that. I am dead set sure EVERYONE wants to hear it, so none of you'se complain !

Heathan your exactly right i want to know about vladyslavs mysterious ancestors. Were they werewolves lol
Lycans are good at controlling theirselves but if they wanted to let themselves go and just do everything possible to hurt or kill whatever is in they're path
