i agree when a character is dead it should stay dead or it will upset the balance.
and something else the script never said vampires are dead or undead did it. just that they were humans infected with a virus. is that right or did i miss something?

Your right, it never said they were undead. They were trying to make the idea of vampires seem plausible in a scientific sense and I don't think being 'undead' can be explained easily or backed up without making them zombies...

I reckon Lucian will be in the third one, if they do it as a prequal like I have heard they will. I only hope that this time they do some character development, because on screen they were flat one dimensional beings as cool as they were, they also need to mood it right, they had it dark and that from the first minute stright into it, while it may seem good it aint because there is no build up to it, and no time for character development and interaction. Oh and the action scenes need to be faster, too much slow motion slows the action down making it quite boring for action. Better death scenes for main characters, Viktors was ok but he should not have died in the 1st. Lucian's death was good, but I wish he had done more. Don't get me wrong I love Underworld, but there is alot that needs to be improved if it wants another success.

I just fucking hope Hybrids don't take over Underworld 2, I'm not a big fan of the idea but now that Marquis too is one then it seems likley that it will focus mostly on that. The end battle of Underworld was too akward and almost stupid.

Thats becuase the end was geared for a continuation in a sequel. They ruined it by doing that. It'll be better when the next sequel comes out. It will seem more complete when watched together hopefully.

I wonder what happened to Alexander Corvinus? Since he is immortal I wonder if he will still be romping around? Worth a thought.

Depending on how old Marcus is, I don't think anyone who was around at that time is still around...everything is just second-hand accounts...so even in the prequal I don't see how they'd include him or give any kind of detailed info...but who knows...

Alexander was the first immortal but not the first vampire/lycan, I believe. The legend is that he had three sons and which the legend we all should know. Three sons; ones bitten by bat, one by dog/wolf, and one to walk the lonely road of mortality; something like that. So I'd agree with Marquis that he had no powers except for immortality which he passed to his sons who became the first vampire and lycan.

I think initially he may have had no powers other than immortality, but after a while, considering he will not die that easy he would have evolved, now most Humans don't for they live merely a century if lucky, but he has had centuries to evolve, I believe he may be able to manipulate the invisible energy of which life is constructed, able to perform such things as telepathy and telekenises. Just a thought.....
