Well for those who have notice, Julianna isn't human anymore but lycan coz I changed her. This was arranged over AIM so it wasn't against her will. I see no problem if a mortal decides to organise with someone of another race to be changed. Being mortal maybe handy for those who are unsure what side to take.

Theres no case or debate! I think its up to them if they want to change or not but I think everyone should come in as mortals and post for a day or two then figure out if they want to be vampire or Lycan

There are some problems with this, the mortals only area both their council and conference boards are password protected...if a mortal who knew these then was changed they would know two sets of passwords, which of course is an obvious risk...

Well is there anyway for the mortal board to have a member list? Like the board has a list of which users here can see it and not and you simply remove the name when they shift sides? I'm not sure whether these borads have this feature but this is from my experiece with phpBB and Runboards.
If not maybe withholding the password until they have PM'd you to say they will stay mortal might help or require them to stay mortal if they wish to gain the passcode.

Well, of course this would be a pain in the ass, but you could always just change the password after one switches over. I know that Julia just kind of signed up as a mortal 'cause I asked her to... But most of those who sign up as a mortal are either unsure of which side they want to be on or they want to fight as a mortal. I'm betting if they sign up as a certain race, it is likely that they would like to stay as that race.

Yeah it shouldnt be a debate, they should have the choice, and yeah either change the password or make a member list that those only can get in.

The attraction of choosing mortal is the ability to become immortal so removing that would decrease mortal members. Its nice to know you can be changed if you want to preserev your character in battle.

Is there any way we can add a risk factor because humans aren't always changed successfully.

I agree wit julia they should be a risk factor cuz most mortals when they get bit they die from the dieseases they have.

Well maybe the longer you stay Mortal the higher the risk it is to be changed. So if you join and decide to change race almost immediantly you are mostl likely to survive the change while longer mortal members are have a low survival rate.

well, if we want humans to last a bit longer, we have to give them SOME kind of advantage. As both lycans and vampyres and very pain resistant, and tough, i think we shoudl give mortals maybe a free gun or something at the beginning to offset their lack of abilites.

Also because humans are just plain pathetic and puny. I like your idea of giving humans or N00bs a free gun. Just a Walther P99a though.

Well, think about it, not in just stat and abiliy terms, what can mortals do? They can live in society without having to hide much they can walk in the day, they can wear silver, they do not need to hide or take extra care to preserve their identity....enough said.
