Ok i was just wondering who all has seen The Crhonicles of Riddick yet and what they thought about it.
Personally i LOVED the movie because it was really intense and i love action and sci-fi movies. I didn't get to see Pitch Black but i heard it was really good. Anyone know if Vin Diesel was in that one or not? Well anyway, i think he made the perfect character and his eyes made alot of the movie.
And i was also wondering what some of your all's favorite movies where so maybe i could check them out. My fav. of all time are:
#1: Pirates of the Carribbean #2: League of Extrodinary Gentleman <----must see movie #3: Chronicles of Riddick #4: Adam Sandler movies #5: Scary movie 2
oh and a suggestion: don't see Seabiscuit it was one of the most retarded movies i'v ever seen.

nice, what is The Shining about, a friend of mine went and saw it but he wouldn't tell me what it was, he said i had to go and see it myself. Harry Potter movies RULE! Have you read all the books? I'v seen alot of the movies you've listed and most of them were awesome, The Hulk was ok but only problem with it was it was kind of lame in the details of stuff, it was like one day he was normal and next he wasn't, they really didn't go into detail on alot of things. And how did you like Seabiscuit lol, It was about a horse and a jocky and got all messed up

The Shining was a movie based on a Stephen King novel. A family goes up to this hotel to watch over it during the winter or whatnot. It's up in the mountains, so it's quite snowy. There were two. I've only seen the original, which stars Jack Nicholson. It's fairly good.
I really wanted to see Riddick, but unfortunately, I never got to it, considering my dad was out of town for two weeks then. Unfortunately, my mom is the chick-flick movie goer, and none of my friends wanted to see it.
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen was awesome. It was definitely one of my favorites, and of course, Mina Harper was my favorite--next to Tom Sawyer.
<THIS IS REALLY HARD> Favorites
Daredevil The Green Mile Good Will Hunting Secondhand Lions Spiderman Movies Harry Potter Movies Fried Green Tomatoes (REALLY GOOD MOVIE) The Fast and the Furious Movies The Lord of the Rings Movies Pay It Forward Forest Gump
Okay, so they aren't in order, and I haven't seen The Green Mile in a while, but I know those are some movies I could watch repeatedly and never get too tired of them. Good Will Hunting is a really good movie, as is Fried Green Tomatoes. I recommend the novel, The Whistle Stop Cafe. I think that is what it is called. I just started the Pay It Forward novel, and I have read all of the Harry Potters.
Anyways, any of those movies are quite good.
Elliot, did you see the original or remake of The Shining, and what is Animal Farm about?

I have only seen the origonal Shining..
Animal farm - A movie that rippes the living crap out of communism. Animals take over a farm (as communism did), they were put into special ranks to suit what farm animal they were (as communism did, butn with humans) and they made the leaders pigs (self explanetry) and the pigs promised it would all be nice then changed the rules and so on
By the way, the pigs killed a hound then kept the pups and trained them to be vishious killing machines/executioners
(Eg, there was writing on the wall saying "All animals are equal" then something happend that I can't remember, I think one of the chickens spoke up about how they are unfair and how they are all alike and then they killed the chicken to restore ballence and used to chickens blood to add onto the sign so it read "all animals are equal - *continues in blood* but some animals are more equal than others"
At the end, it was showing how one day, if society stood up and faught against comunism(the pigs symbolising comunism), they would be screwed. The farm animals locked the pigs in the house and burnt them alive and everything was peaceful after that.

I saw the chornicles of Riddick while I was in Jamaica and was anxiously awaiting the return of Vin Diesel in a role that was made for him. I absolutely loved it and had waited soo long. I agree that his eyes really do make the story adn it blows the mind how perfect he is for the role. But lets not forget tat it is his sexy boday and deep voice that get all the girls going to watch him also ;) (im guilty :D)!
Im personally a true Vin Diesel and Keanu Reeves fan, Harcore. My favourite Movies would have to be:
*Pitch Black *Chronicles of Riddick *Matrix 1,2&3 *Replacment (a girl has to have some comedy) *Devils Advocate *Fast and the Furious *Saving private Ryan *Exit wounds *Underworld *Home Fries (some more comedy) *Battle Royal*Troy just to name a few of the top of my head.
But Im also a excellent game console and Pc player my current favourites are:
*Heros of might and Magic series *Dynasty warriors series *Dynasty Tactis series *(one and only) Metal gear Series*Sims series
I enven have underworld as you can tell once I find ewhat I like im fiercly loyal. What bout every one else?

Riddick escapes from a guy trying to capture him and goes to a planet (it all goes back to pitch black) and see a black guy and this race of people come and try and get the race their to go their ways of religion and join up in their army and everything and they want to kill riddick and its a big jumbled mess of how riddick saves a lot of people and find someone of his same race and saves the people and drives a metal rod through a dudes head. And this race that comes to conquer this planet is convincing people their race has no pain or anything.

Riddick has some seriously amazing special effects, TRUELY, I was seating in my seat in awe most of the time. And the actress taht plays the queen of the evil race is soo stunning . But there really is no point seeing it till yo have seen pitch black otherwise non of it makes sense and you will get lost. Karl Urban is also a really wonderful actor in it!
